The proposed workshop focuses on exploring the possibilities of different kinds of Virtual Research Labs. Participants are encouraged to discuss different use cases/needs for learning analytics research and research-oriented teaching practices that may arise. Together we move towards answering the questions:
- How to put together a Virtual Research Laboratory that enables and facilitates learning analytics research?
- How an ideal Virtual Research Laboratory of Learning Analytics should look like and what components it should have?
The ideas will be put in use when building a Virtual Laboratory of Learning Analytics for international collaboration that is supported by a Horizon2020 project (SEIS – Scaling up educational innovation in schools).
