Dr Jussi Okkonen is an Associate Professor in Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Sciences at Tampere University, Finland. His work is about how technology affects people’s everyday life and different use contexts and users. Digital literacy underpins the topics as understanding how technology affects life plays central role in sustainable digital existence. In work context human-technology interaction, especially information ergonomics is one of his key topics. Okkonen has studied the use of analytics and role of AI in HE context in several projects.
Dr Jiri Lallimo is a project manager in AnalytiikkaÄly project (Analytics AI), which is a joint project on a broad scale with seven universities participating. In Aalto University, Finland, the project is coordinated by Learning Services. AnalytiikkaÄly project aims to develop learning analytics that may help to detect traits that promote learning or hinder it, support students in self-directing themselves and thus help the progress of their studies, target guidance more accurately and produce useful information for the purposes of the degree programs and university management.
Dr Iiris Tuvi is a post-doctoral research fellow in Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Sciences at Tampere University and a researcher in University of Tartu, Estonia. Latest directions of research are children in digital environments, technological innovations in education and technological advances that use human psychophysical data.
